In 2017, Molly Bretton won a Marsh Award for Excellence in Gallery Education for her work in accessible and inclusive arts education. In her current role, she leads a team that develops resources and programmes to support creative learning experiences for families, students, teachers, disabled visitors and community groups. In her previous role as Access and Community Manager, she devised a broad range of events with and for disabled visitors. Key programmes include events welcoming blind and partially sighted visitors, disabled artists, D/deaf audiences and people experiencing dementia.

Molly was involved in some of London’s first relaxed theatre performances and since joining the RA, she’s established various initiatives to promote inclusive practice for people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
In addition to her work at the RA, she provides access consultancy to galleries, museums, theatres and heritage sites on inclusive architecture, exhibition design, interpretation and educational programming.
