Mei-yi Chen has a master’s degree in Art Therapy from the University of Taipei, a master’s in Art Education from National Changhua University of Education, and a Master of Arts diploma in Art History and Theory from the University of Essex. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Guidance & Counseling at National Changhua University of Education. She now serves as an art therapist and counselor at Jer-Fang Counseling Center. Her clients consist of children, adults, and senior citizens. Other than providing services of personal enrichment, emotional issues, post-traumatic stress recovery and stress management, she has also spent more than a decade working with those with special needs. Chen is also committed to working with senior citizens through researches and projects that target the prevention and treatment of dementia.
