Moderator
Dr. Joy Chih-Ning Hsin is currently the Chief of Education and Extension Division at the National Museum of History, Taiwan. She is also the board member of ICOM MPR and Chinese Association of Museums, and teaches postgraduate at several universities for Museum Studies. She got her master degrees in Chinese art history and museum studies in Taipei and UK respectively and a PhD of management. Joy is a co-author and the chief editor of Museum Branding: Redefining Museums for the 21st Century, selected papers from the ICOM MPR 2014 Conference (ISBN 978-986-91506-1-3) published by Chinese Association of Museums in 2015. Her practical experiences and academic interests have involved museum management, communications and marketing, and museum education.

Believe Art brings life infinite possibilities. Grace Cheng is the director of Art in Hospital and Vice Chairperson of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, dedicate to the use of therapeutic art and promote art to people with different abilities. Cheng is also an independent curator, she curated Charming Experience in 2009, an exhibition for audience to experience art through senses. IEATA Conference was organized in 2015 to explore the use and development of expressive arts therapy.
She was awarded with the Secretary for Home Affairs’ Commendation Scheme to commend Cheng outstanding contribution to the development of arts and culture.

Mei-yi Chen has a master’s degree in Art Therapy from the University of Taipei, a master’s in Art Education from National Changhua University of Education, and a Master of Arts diploma in Art History and Theory from the University of Essex. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Guidance & Counseling at National Changhua University of Education. She now serves as an art therapist and counselor at Jer-Fang Counseling Center. Her clients consist of children, adults, and senior citizens. Other than providing services of personal enrichment, emotional issues, post-traumatic stress recovery and stress management, she has also spent more than a decade working with those with special needs. Chen is also committed to working with senior citizens through researches and projects that target the prevention and treatment of dementia.

Chun-luan Yang is a nurse with a background in art therapy and visual art. She currently works in the Psychiatric Department at the Tri-Services Hospital and is also a Ph.D. student in the Department of Nursing at National Yang-Ming University, researching “art and medical care.” She has a Diplôme National Supérieur d'expression Plastique (DNSEP, equivalent to a master’s degree) and an art therapy diploma from the Institut de Touraine. Yang’s work is video based and explores the disappearance and retention of moments and memories. She was selected as a visiting artist from Taipei Artist Village and took up residence in Cairo, Egypt. She was also once a resident artist in the Chiayi countryside where she led an art workshop for seniors. In more recent years, Yang has mainly researched the use of art in medical care; in 2018, she received sponsorship from the National Culture and Arts Foundation (NCAF) Inclusive Arts Project as a moderator for the “Now – I’m Here,” an art program for people living with dementia.
